This is the place I eat a lot of my lunches (a salad from the salad bar at Harris Teeter - a grocery store here in the Carolina's, that actually has a great salad bar) - my desk at work. Yes, I was checking my personal email at lunch today!

Scrapbook Sunday
I've taken quite a bit of time lately to do some scrapbooking. I accomplished several pages (and even a whole baby book) over the last two weekends.
This is the intro page and the first month of my niece, April's baby book. There is the same for each month. The idea is to take a picture of the baby with the bear each month to see how much she grows in the first year of her life.

I finally made a layout of our Montana trip. I plan to make several more and maybe even a book like I did for our Yosemite trip, which I just realized that I don't think I ever posted here. I will try to do that at some point.

And then as part of the online class I'm taking (actually all these layouts were a result of the class except the baby book), I had to use the colors orange, yellow, brown and blue together on a layout, so I used an older picture of me and Chalupa and made a "just because" kind of layout that will go in our "All About Us" album.
I had so much fun doing these pages that everytime I scrapbook I keep wondering why I don't spend more time doing it instead of sitting in front of the TV watching things I don't really like. Lesson learned!

Photo a Day - Day 5
This is what I saw as I came out of the bathroom this morning after getting ready for work.
In other news....I finally finished the first pre-work assignment for another class I'm taking online (at Big Picture Scrapbooking, of course). I should probably mention that it is week 6 of the 12 week class, and yes, I am just now doing the pre-work assignment - and yes, "pre-work" does mean work to do BEFORE the class starts.
Better late than never, I guess.
